About us
Your tasks
- Backend engineering: Design and implementation of highly available APIs and services within the PHP-based system landscape.
- Project and stakeholder management: Independent planning and management of complex software projects in the RE-IN environment, involving interdisciplinary interfaces.
- Architecture and innovation: Strategic further development of the system architecture as well as evaluation and integration of forward-looking technologies for performance optimization.
- Quality assurance & compliance: Definition of clean code standards, performance of strategic code reviews, and ensuring data security and compliance.
- Release & process optimization: Creation of technical roadmaps and feasibility studies, as well as proactive optimization of deployment processes (CI/CD).
Your qualifications
- Completed degree in (business) information technology or software engineering, as well as many years of relevant professional experience in software architecture.
- Comprehensive expert knowledge of PHP development, modern front-end technologies (TypeScript/JS), and the design of complex platform architectures.
- Confident manner as a technical anchor point with a deep understanding of cost-benefit ratios and business management contexts in e-commerce.
- Strong sense of responsibility for the entire project life cycle (end-to-end) as well as for the stability and security of the system landscape.
- Innovative spirit and the determination to courageously question existing structures, break new ground, and make decisive decisions even in critical phases.
- Very good English skills; German skills are a plus.
