High-tech meets efficiency at our logistics center. We rely on state-of-the-art logistics processes to deliver to our customers in more than 150 countries: Located just a few kilometers from our headquarters in Hirschau, our logistics center in Wernberg-Köblitz is an impressive high-tech facility that includes a fully automated high-bay warehouse with 44,000 pallet spaces and a shuttle warehouse with 235,000 storage spaces, which went into operation in 2014. Our logistics center is exciting and impressive every single day.
Your contribution to success
- You will take charge of managing and organizing the day-to-day business of your department.
- You will lead and motivate your employees and ensure that everyone is pulling in the same direction. Together, you will achieve the goal of high-quality work.
- You will plan ahead to determine how many people you need to complete the tasks. You will always keep an eye on the budget and coordinate closely with your superiors.
- You will ensure that the logistics processes also run smoothly with other departments and that all legal and technical regulations are complied with.
- You will monitor the relevant KPIs via SAP/SAP EWM and, in consultation with your supervisor, derive the necessary measures to be taken.
Your success factors
- You have completed commercial training and already have several years of experience in logistics. Alternatively, you have an equivalent qualification that makes you suitable for the job.
- You have already gained initial management experience in a similar role and have a proven track record in employee development and promotion.
- You are very familiar with logistics processes and your
working style is structured and solution-oriented. - You are a true team player, possess empathy, but also know how to assert yourself when necessary.
- You have a good technical understanding and have worked with SAP or comparable software.
- You have good written and spoken German skills and a basic knowledge of English.
- You are willing to work shifts.
