We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior System Administrator (m/f/d) with a focus on Windows and Azure environments to join our IT team. In this versatile role, you will cover all areas from first to third level support in the helpdesk and play a key role in the integration into our Security Operations Center (SOC) and the Incident Response Team.

Your contribution to success

  • All-round IT support: Processing of inquiries and problems from 1st to 3rd level support in the helpdesk, including error analysis and rectification of complex system faults.
  • Windows Server and Client Management: Administration, configuration and maintenance of our Windows Server infrastructure and Windows client systems.
  • Azure Cloud Management: Administration and optimization of our Azure environment, including IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD, virtual networks and security services.
  • Security integration: Active participation in the Security Operations Center (SOC) in the monitoring, analysis and evaluation of security incidents.
  • Incident Response: Participation in the Incident Response Team to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents and minimize risks.

Your success factors

  • Education: Completed training in the IT sector (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable degree.
  • Professional experience: Several years of professional experience as a system administrator with in-depth knowledge of Windows server and client environments.
  • Azure expertise: Proven experience in the administration of Microsoft Azure services and ideally corresponding certifications (e.g. AZ-104).
  • Security awareness: Strong understanding of IT security issues and experience with SIEM systems and incident response processes.
  • Ability to work in a team: Committed, independent and proactive way of working as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
