Your contribution to success

Architecture, design and implementation of new, high-quality features, applications and services in the backend area of the Conrad Sourcing Platform in an agile setup
Close collaboration with other teams in the department as well as across departments to develop the best possible solutions
Continuous further development of the entire development process (architecture, security, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, etc.) in close cooperation with the team
Ensuring and constantly optimizing application security
Ensuring the availability and smooth operation as well as the performance, maintainability and scalability of the team applications and services

Your success factors

5 years of experience in software development of eCommerce platforms or SaaS solutions with in-depth knowledge of the Java programming language and the Spring Boot framework
Know-how in common software development methods and practices (e.g. git, CI/CD, unit tests, microservices, build tools and DevOps) and Experience with databases, SQL and NoSQL
Experience in working with high-traffic eCommerce platforms preferred
Experience in the cloud environment and working with common technologies such as Kubernetes & Docker, Apache Kafka and API Gateways
Solution-oriented and creative way of thinking and self-organized way of working
Ability to work in a team and interest in working in international and distributed agile teams
Effective communication skills, including gathering requirements and presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.
Good English skills are required and German language proficiency is a plus.
