 You are the strategic mind behind our secure IT infrastructure. As a Senior IT Architect (m/f/nb), you’ll move beyond day-to-day operations to focus on hardening, scaling, and future-proofing our hybrid environment. You’ll serve as the bridge between infrastructure operations and cybersecurity, and act as the driving force behind our zero-trust vision.

Your contribution to success

  • Security Architecture: You will design and optimize the architecture of our endpoint security (EDR) system, with a continuous expansion toward XDR.
  • Strategic Zero-Trust Roadmap: You will define the technical standards for our zero-trust approach and be responsible for designing secure application access (ZTNA).
  • Incident Response Leadership: In the event of security incidents, you will serve as the technical lead on the Incident Response Team and conduct forensic analyses as well as post-mortem optimizations.
  • Proactive Vulnerability Management: You will establish an automated vulnerability management system and prioritize risks based on the business relevance of our services.
  • Identity Governance (IAM): You will be responsible for the strategy for identity protection, conditional access, and modern authentication methods (MFA/SSO) across the entire Conrad Group.
  • Technical Consulting: You will advise departments on the implementation of new cloud services, taking into account Security-by-Design principles.

Your success factors

  • Education & Experience: A degree in (IT) security or computer science, and at least six years of relevant experience in enterprise administration.
  • Security Expertise: In-depth understanding of modern threat scenarios and defense mechanisms in hybrid system environments.
  • Methodological Skills: Experience applying frameworks such as ISO 27001.
  • Azure & Cloud Security: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Azure Cloud Security Controls.
  • Analytics & Communication: You can assess complex security risks and communicate them clearly to management and operational teams.
  • Certifications: Ideally, you hold senior certifications such as Microsoft SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect) or SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator).
  • Languages: Very good written and spoken German (C1 level) and English (B1 level)
