We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior System Administrator (m/f/d) with a focus on Windows and Azure environments to join our IT team. In this versatile role, you will cover all areas from first to third level support in the helpdesk and play a key role in the integration into our Security Operations Center (SOC) and the Incident Response Team.

Your contribution to success

  • Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR): Administration and continuous improvement of our endpoint detection and response solution. 

  • Zero Trust (ZTNA): Collaboration in the design and implementation of our zero trust strategy, particularly in the area of application access.

  • Incident Response: Participation in the incident response team to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents and minimize risks.

  • Vulnerability Management: Regularly scanning, evaluating, and prioritizing vulnerabilities across the entire infrastructure (servers, clients, applications).

  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Securing identities and access, particularly via multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO).

Your success factors

  • Education: Completed apprenticeship in IT (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable degree.

  • Work experience: Several years of professional experience as a system administrator with in-depth knowledge of Windows Server and client environments.

  • Focus on IT security: Experience in zero trust and EDR solutions

  • Team player: Committed, independent, and proactive approach to work, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.

  • Languages: Very good written and spoken German (C1 level) and English (B1 level)
