Your contribution to success

Strategy & Innovation: Proactive development of the brand portfolio and identification of new potential for success.
Performance & Profitability: Optimization of gross margin and management of category performance using KPIs and scorecards.
Cross-functional collaboration: Close coordination with purchasing, marketing, and pricing to implement integrated category plans.
Marketing & Market: Definition of marketing activities and product placements in cooperation with market managers.
Monitoring & Analysis: Regular competitive comparisons and monitoring of supply chain developments.
Project Management: Independent management of projects and proactive solution management within your area.

Your success factors

Successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, marketing, or a comparable commercial qualification with relevant experience.
Solid experience in category management, product management, or strategic purchasing, ideally in e-commerce or retail.
Confident use of KPI systems (category scorecards) and the ability to derive concrete recommendations for action from complex data sets (margin, inventory turnover, competitive data).
A keen sense of trends, competitive observation, and the ability to proactively identify gaps in the product range.
Knowledge of planning advertising measures, product placement, and strategic pricing for margin optimization.
Experience in managing and coordinating (cross-functional) projects and initiatives
