Your contribution to success

  • Defining the AI Target Architecture: You will coordinate and create the Conrad AI Architecture Blueprint—from data flows and integration patterns to the operational model.
  • Establishing the “Golden Path”: You will define standardized delivery paths for AI products (from prototype to MVP), including mandatory architecture checkpoints and quality gates.
  • Security & Compliance by Design: Working closely with the InfoSec team, you embed data protection, information security, and auditability directly into the architecture and data flows.
  • Ops Design & MLOps: Together with the engineering team, you design modern deployment processes (CI/CD, model registry, monitoring, alerting) to ensure stable, productive operations.
  • Technical Due Diligence & Reviews: You conduct architecture reviews for new use cases and tools, assess risks and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), and prepare decision templates for management.
  • Enablement & Engineering Culture: Through guidelines, reference implementations, and coaching, you empower AI specialists and delivery teams to implement high-quality solutions.

Your success factors

  • A degree in computer science, physics, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical/scientific qualification.
  • You have more than 10 years of relevant professional experience in software, cloud, or data architecture, ideally in an enterprise environment.
  • You have in-depth practical knowledge of modern AI/ML stacks, GenAI/LLMs, as well as observability and reliability engineering.
  • You are confident in integrating AI systems with complex legacy systems (e.g., supply chain or contact centers) via API standards and event-driven architectures.
  • You can clearly communicate complex technical trade-offs (e.g., performance vs. cost) to non-technical stakeholders and confidently advocate for your concepts even in conflict situations.
  • You act proactively and creatively, always with the goal of reducing technical debt and increasing implementation speed through reuse.
  • You are fluent in German and English
