Your contribution to success
- Sales and margin analysis: Detailed analysis of sales development by channel (online/offline), customer segment, product, and region. Identification and commentary on deviations, as well as derivation of recommendations for action
- Marketing controlling: Management and monitoring of the marketing budget. Calculation of the ROAS of marketing campaigns, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLV)
- Pricing & conditions: Support in the design of pricing models and analysis of discounts/conditions for their profitability
- Forecasting & budgeting: Creation of rolling sales and marketing forecasts and active participation in the annual budget process
- Reporting: Development, maintenance, and updating of specific KPI dashboards (e.g., conversion rates, traffic, cost per order)
- Project and process management: Active participation in special projects to optimize sales and marketing processes. Taking on coordination tasks at the interfaces between sales, marketing, accounting, and IT
- Overall company controlling: Integrating sales and marketing figures into the central controlling processes. Actively participating in the preparation of the overall company forecast and the annual financial statements from a sales and revenue perspective
Your success factors
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on marketing or a comparable qualification, alternatively completed commercial training with relevant professional experience and additional qualifications in the area of controlling and/or marketing
- Confident use of tools such as budgeting, forecasting, target/actual comparisons, and variance analyses
- Understanding of sales strategies, distribution channels, commission systems, and the evaluation of sales organizations
- Knowledge of marketing KPIs such as conversion rate, customer acquisition costs (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), and the measurement of the ROI of marketing measures
- Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), BI tools for data analysis and reporting (e.g., Board, Looker), and knowledge of CRM systems
- Confident use of Google Cloud products or MS Office
- Analytical mindset, coupled with an implementation-oriented approach to work and a strong hands-on mentality
- Very good German and English skills
