Our recipe for success
Your contribution to success
- Product Range & Portfolio Analysis: Detailed analysis of product range performance by product category, brand, and product life cycle. Identification of “high-performing” and “low-performing” items, and derivation of recommendations for streamlining or expanding the product range.
- Channel Management & Allocation Strategy: Business evaluation and decision support to determine which items should be stocked, shipped via dropshipping (direct shipping by suppliers), or sourced through marketplaces (sourcing mix optimization).
- Inventory & Working Capital Management: Monitoring of inventory trends, analysis of inventory turnover rates and safety stock levels, as well as identification of excess inventory and optimization opportunities to reduce capital tied up in inventory.
- Margin & Terms Controlling: Analysis of contribution margin levels, taking into account procurement and logistics costs as well as supplier terms. Support for Category Management in supplier negotiations through well-founded data analysis.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Creation of rolling forecasts for purchase volumes and inventory levels, as well as active participation in the annual budgeting process for Category Management.
- Reporting & KPI Development: Setting up and maintaining dashboards to monitor product range performance (e.g., Earn & Turn, GMROI, out-of-stock rates, supplier performance).
- Project Management: Actively contributing to the optimization of supply chain and sourcing processes, as well as interface coordination
