- Market Intelligence & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor strategies and customer preferences to inform category strategy and business decisions.
- Customer Focus: Utilize customer feedback and demand forecasting to improve product offerings and availabilities, catalog quality and the overall customer shopping experience.
- Category Growth: Develop and execute data-driven plans for category expansion, new product introductions and assortment optimization.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics tools to track category performance, identify growth opportunities and drive strategic initiatives.
- Financial Management: Conduct financial analysis, optimize pricing, forecast demand and manage category profitability (P&L).
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline category management processes, improve efficiency and develop targeted marketing campaigns.
Your success factors
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or related field.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Category Management, Market Intelligence or Vendor Management.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research and competitor benchmarking are what set you apart.
- You are proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI platforms).
- You have experience in financial planning, forecasting and P&L management.
- The ability to succeed in a fast-paced, data-driven environment characterizes you.
- You have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills in German and English.
