We are looking for a data-driven Junior Market Manager (m/f/d) to further develop our Digital Market Channels (DMC) as soon as possible. This role focuses on the effective use of market intelligence to drive growth, optimize category performance and improve our competitive position. In this role, you will analyze market trends, stay on top of the competitive landscape and use data insights to develop and execute effective category strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Your contribution to success

  • Market Intelligence & Analysis: Conducting analysis on industry trends, competitive strategies and customer preferences to inform category strategy and business decisions.
  • Customer Centricity: Using customer feedback and creating demand forecasts to optimize product offering and availability, catalog quality and the overall shopping experience for our customers.
  • Category Management: Developing and implementing data-driven plans for category expansion, new product introductions and assortment optimization.
  • Data-driven decisions: Using data analytics tools to track category performance, identify category growth opportunities and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Financial management: Performing financial analysis and forecasting to optimize pricing and category profitability (P&L).
  • Operational excellence: Working with cross-functional teams to optimize category management processes, increase efficiency and develop targeted marketing campaigns.

Your success factors

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, data analysis, marketing or a related field.
  • You have initial professional experience in the areas of category management, market intelligence or vendor management.
  • You have strong analytical skills with expertise in market research and competitive benchmarking.
  • You are adept at using data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI platforms).
  • You have experience in financial planning, forecasting and P&L management
  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English and can interact well with different stakeholders.
