This position is a temporary parental leave replacement for a period of two years. 

Your contribution to success

  • Data management: You will be responsible for collecting and structuring relevant marketplace data from various sources (including Mirakl, payment providers, web analytics) and ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting & visualization: You will design and create dashboards and reports to measure key marketplace KPIs.
  • Forecasting & planning: You will support budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing historical trends and developing models for GMV and customer behavior.
  • Exploratory analysis: You will conduct proactive data research to uncover complex relationships and identify opportunities for improvement in marketplace performance.
  • Interface communication: You translate complex analysis results into precise recommendations for action and present them to the respective business teams in a manner appropriate to the target audience.
  • Quality assurance: You evaluate the impact of your reports on business decisions to ensure the continued relevance of your analyses.

Your success factors

  • Qualifications: You have successfully completed a degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science (or industrial engineering) or a comparable commercial/technical education.
  • Professional experience: Ideally, you have proven professional experience in data analysis in the e-commerce or marketplace environment.
  • Analytical skills: You are characterized by a structured approach to work and the ability to accurately prepare and interpret large amounts of data.
  • Methodology: You are confident in using modern analysis tools and have a deep understanding of data consistency and data quality.
  • Communication skills: You can present complex issues in an understandable way and confidently represent them to stakeholders.
  • Languages: You have good English skills (B1 level) and very good German skills (C1 level) in both written and spoken language.
