In your role as Category Manager, you will be responsible for the defined product range and help shape the product area. From ensuring market conformity to optimising marketing, be it through optimum pricing, sales support and the right marketing to the target group. All of this helps us to achieve our goals.

Your contribution to success

  • Active management of the product categories (Computer and office technology, telecommunications and multimedia)
  • Local pricing according to strategic guidelines
  • Definition of product gaps and opportunities
  • Reviewing the market potential for the product categories in terms of sales and margin
  • Inputs, pricing and further support for B2B offerings and tenders
  • Monitoring of key figures
  • Collaboration, planning, localisation/adaptation of product activities/campaigns

Your success factors

  • Experience in purchasing and product management
  • Enjoy electronics and technology products
  • Wide product know-how
  • Experience in the e-commerce environment an advantage
  • Basic commercial training or similar
  • Structured, analytical and independent working style
  • Very good German and good English skills, French an advantage
  • Good verbal expression and negotiation skills
  • Familiar with dealing with suppliers and service providers
  • Ability to work in a team and reliability
  • Open and flexible in dealing with new challenges
