Our Big Data team plays a crucial role in shaping the data-driven future of Conrad Electronic. We are an agile, highly motivated team of experts who develop innovative solutions to overcome complex challenges and gain valuable insights from our data. We work closely with other departments to drive Conrad Electronic's business goals.

Your contribution to success

Development and implementation: You will develop and implement robust and scalable big data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Data modeling and ETL: You are responsible for designing data models and developing ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) with Matillion ETL.
Data integration: You integrate various data sources and ensure that data quality and consistency are guaranteed.
Performance optimization: You optimize the performance of our big data platform and ensure that we can work efficiently even with growing data volumes.
Technological development: You stay up to date with the latest big data technologies and bring new ideas and approaches to our team.
Collaboration: You will work closely with other developers, data scientists and business analysts to jointly develop innovative solutions.

Your success factors

Experience: You have several years of experience as a Big Data Engineer, ideally in the cloud environment (GCP).
Technology skills: You are an expert in using BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses and have excellent knowledge of SQL. Experience with Confluent Kafka is an advantage.
Data modeling: You have sound knowledge in the design of data models and the development of ETL processes, ideally with Matillion ETL.
Ability to work in a team: You are a team player and enjoy working with others.
Communication skills: You have a very good command of English. German language skills are an advantage.
