Your contribution to success

  • Use Case Discovery & Framing: You will moderate workshops with the business units, identify pain points, and translate technical requirements into precise AI problems (target variables, data sources, model approaches).
  • End-to-end project management: You will coordinate cross-functional teams laterally and accompany AI solutions from feasibility studies to prototypes to go-live.
  • Technical prototyping management: You will lead the development of PoCs (e.g., forecasting, NLP, or computer vision) and ensure model quality through experiment design and iterations.
  • Scaling & standardization: You will develop AI blueprints and best practices to make solutions reusable across the group and avoid technical debt.
  • Production & MLOps: Together with Engineering, you will define deployment pipelines, monitoring, and interfaces to ensure the stable transition of AI models into operation.
  • Change Management & Impact: You will ensure the adoption of the tools in the specialist departments through training and tracking of KPIs (time/cost savings, quality gains).

 

Your success factors

  • Completed degree in (business) informatics, physics, industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on operations, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have in-depth experience in the technical implementation of AI solutions and combine this with a strong project management mindset (agile methods preferred).
  • You have the ability to explain complex algorithms to stakeholders in an understandable way and translate business benefits into technical metrics.
  • You are confident in data profiling and in evaluating data quality and availability for machine learning models.
  • You are proactive and solution-oriented, think in terms of systems, and have the stamina to drive change processes in a large organization.
  • You are fluent in German and have a good command of English.
